Crucible was engaged by Working Title Films to develop an entirely new site to centralise all their communications around their film and theatrical productions.
The main objectives were to make it simpler and less expensive to maintain, to increase the depth and breadth of content, to drive the increase in site traffic and the development of an online community.
Crucible designed the site to be easily updated by the client and to readily incorporate a significant amount of high quality video content. An intuitive user interface was created, offering simple navigation, inter-linking of relevant content and access to community tools while maintaining the impact of rich media elements. The site was also optimised for search.
As a result site visits have trebled and registered subscribers have doubled in the four months since the launch of the new site in May 2005.
